i was really convinced that i could save it with my english major abilities. like, so sure i could prove that it isn't that bad
but it kind of is
i actually don't mind the gale of it all quite as much as i remember, but i hate the peeta a thousand times more. the boy isn't even in the damn book! in my memory, he shows up after like, three chapters and they spend like 100 pages 'real or not real'-ing and then epilogue. but nope, it is decidedly not like that.
