So, so great. "Olivia doesn't like mess." -- that is pretty much my canon for Alt!Liv in a nutshell, so many conflicted feelings about her. Love the backstory and the banter. Love that she doesn't immediately have all warm fuzzy mother feelings toward the peanut.
AND THE ENDING AUGH. I live in so much fear that this is how it's going to end, that Lincoln is expendable and he's going to die and I can't *stand* it. So I take your fic as a talisman that once written, it won't happen in canon and I will cling to that belief like a blanket.
