WHAT.

WHAT HAVE YOU DONE TO ME. DO YOU KNOW. I AM OPENLY WEEPING. BECAUSE WHAT THE HELL.

It’s not Ron or Hermione’s fault, of course, but Harry can’t help but feel it, like a burn, like the fact that he didn’t know sooner signifies all the changes in them since the end of the war. On some level, he thinks, he has always been afraid of this, of them becoming something he can’t touch.

AND

“And I will tell them that the legends could never capture you,” she says. “And that you are the best friend I have ever had or will have. And that I am better having known you and that, Harry Potter —” She takes his hand again, and squeezes lightly. “That will never change.”

I AM DEAD. WHAT HAVE YOU DONE TO ME. DEAD THAT IS WHAT YOU DID TO ME.

seriously. "that will never change." dead.

also, poor poor poor harry because suddenly ron and hermione are becoming this thing and now there's this other thing that is coming into the world and it has really nothing to do with the boy who lived. SO SAD. the trio just starts dissolving in some aspects and IT JUST HURTS SO BAD.

but you made it sweet and redeeming and THOSE KIDS STILL LOVE EACH OTHER NO MATTER WHAT. and hermione is over practical hermione and harry is sweet sweet harry. DEAD.

basically, i am telling you i love you whether you want me to or not.
