I think as long as the fic is mostly about the canon ship it's fine? I like angst. Angst is fun. But I might re-assess this rule later, depending on how it goes. The primary focus of the fic must be the UC ship, though (as in 95% of the text), and you cannot request a UC ship with the corollary that at the end it be a CC ship. But who am I to tell people they can't write affair fic.
