Harry Potter Non-Canon Ships Comment Ficathon

THE RULES ARE THUS:

1. WHAT MAKES A NON-CANON SHIP? Anything that is not at least one-sided in the books. This means that Snape/Lily is canon, even if she may (or may not) have ever reciprocated. Bellatrix/Voldemort is canon. Lavendar/Ron is canon. Obviously everyone who's married and/or dates is canon. OBHWF is canon, Harry/Cho is canon. Ships that are not stated as fact in the books are not canon. That means UC ships are good, slash is good, femslash is good. For our purposes, we are not counting JKR's interviews as canon. That means that if you wanted to prompt, say, who knows, Hannah/Neville, you could, because it's not in the text itself.

2. You leave a comment with a pairing and a prompt. You respond to prompts that you like. Your prompt must pertain to a non-canon ship. You may specify a character within that ship if you want the fic written from that characters perspective. You may also specify a timeline if you'd like, or if you want it to take place in the movie!verse.

3. When writing fic, put in your title SHIP - TITLE OF FIC (rating optional). This will help us archive if we later archive things. I don't have time to archive anything right now, but if someone wants to volunteer, we can make that happen.

4. LEAVE FEEDBACK. Comments are the lifeblood of the internet.

5. NO WANK. I'll delete your ass. And we're dealing with ships and I am deletion happy, so watch yourself.

6. There will be spoilers for the movie all over this post, I am sure. You have been warned.

I'm gonna claim this one. I'll try to have it done tonight. :)

And she goes up and up and up until she feels like she's above it all. She's outside of herself looking down on this scene like the stars look down on the Earth.

His hands are all over and his mouth is on her skin and she's lost the capacity to scream.

She doesn't know what it is but she thinks that even after it's over she won't be able to cry. She won't want to cry.

Her heart shatters in to a million pieces and she can hear the tinkling as the pieces scatter but her body, her body, the treacherous thing is hot and sweaty and part of her likes this.

And she knew the moment that she saw him that it would be like this. She could smell it and like a grendyloff she brought danger onto herself but she couldn't help it.

His eyes were so dark and for a moment she thought that she saw something, something redeeming and beautiful and he had promised.

He promised her everything and nothing all in the same breath

And she had accepted like a child but that moment passed and now she's stuck here in his hands while her spirit floats above.

Luna went up and up and up. She watches and it burns to see herself there with him, bruised and batter but yet smiling as he takes her.

Mine, he growls before biting her and licking the wound.

Maybe her mother was right all those years ago. Maybe she was a snatchit in human skin and all she wanted was to float far far away.

I nearly forgot that I use to like this pairing. Shame on me. lol

It's not something she should be thinking about but she can't help it. Harry is somewhere far away and she's heard no word from or about him. His presence on her skin seems like a long lost memory and she's lonely.

Here in this castle filled with those who chose to stay, she feels alone mostly all the time except when he is around.

With Neville she smiles and her fingers itch to grab his hand. She misses that. Simple contact. She misses threaded fingers and touching palms, mostly she misses being a part of someone.

If she's honest with herself she hasn't felt a part of Harry in really long time.

But with Neville...

She shakes her head to get rid of that thought. Her heart belongs to Harry. It has always belonged to Harry and it always will.

Flicking off her light, she buries herself in the covers.

Ginny ignores the itch in her fingers.

Sometimes he thinks it's her laugh or her smile.

Others it's the way that she understands him in ways that others don't. She's patient and doesn't prod, only offers him pudding and her company.

He gets distracted when she stands in the light. Her icy blonde hair catches it so well and she's like the sun blazing before his eyes.

Harry is a part of a trio and always has been from the moment he and Ron saved Hermione from the troll. But sometimes he's part of a duo.

Sometimes he sits alone in dark corners and she'll find him later on and sit down next to him. She'll go on crazy spouts about grindyloffs and horzlesnots and Can you believe those gorbletts, Harry, scattering all those leaves like that?.

He loves being part of a trio but he likes being part of Harry and Luna too.

One day he tells her this and she smiles while grabbing his hand. She's dragging him down the hallway and they are both laughing even though he doesn't know what's so funny.

"Luna, where are we going?"

"We need pudding, silly," she says like she can't believe he even has to ask.

He laughs. Harry, Luna, and pudding, yeah he likes the sound of that.
