I love S4 so much, but from what I've seen of S7, fic would be fantastic. (I really need to finish S7. After the movie, I expect a massive marathon is in order!) It's always bugged me that nobody seems to tell us the extent of their relationship or when anything happened, because it just means we have to guess. And, yes, I can totally see how you feel a need to play with Scully's subtleness.
